In order for the University of North Texas to become more sustainable, which in turn leads to national exposure and increased recognition of UNT, encourages sustainability globally, on campus and in the community, and provides opportunities for environmental leadership development and economic benefit to the university; I agree to a dedicated Sustainability Fee not to exceed $5.00 per student per long semester to fund initiatives such as: energy and water conservation, waste reduction and recycling, sustainable campus dining, and student projects.
